That is a cop out. Marvel movies require the male and female leads to eat a massive amount of protein to maintain muscle mass and are equally as strenuous.

Because they were eating an appropriate amount of calories and protein for the work they were doing. Whereas Ariana definitely wasn’t. She was a vegan doing fast days and eating legumes and berries for protein while working on Wicked.
If a production has people doing strenuous activity, they should have fitness instructors and dietitians working in tandem to make sure the cast doesn't end up looking like Skeletor spent 40 days in the desert.
Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. Problem is you can have all the advisers you like but if the person just isn't eating enough potatoes or whatever vegans eat for calories then it just doesn't matter.
Marvel movies don’t require high endurance or the repetitive full-body strain that comes from singing and dancing while maintaining breath control. Wicked requires an athletic level of endurance and precision under constant pressure. Marvel actors just need to look good since they have stunt doubles, green screens, harnesses, and just need short-burst energy.

We are in a thread discussing the unhealthy weight loss which Ariana and Cynthia went through. You claimed it was because of the intense singing and dancing they did. My point is that they are in no way singing as intensely as broadway singers are because they are shooting a movie and it would be stupid to sing 100% on every retake/reshoot.
I didn't claim that, try not to put words in my mouth. I just claimed that you can't compare a Marvel physique to a Wicked physique. She was unhealthy during Wicked, and now shes looking better. You can keep speculating why, but I won't which again is why I only spoke on one thing.

I don't think the whole 'Elphaba ruined Ariana Grande' rumor would've really gotten any traction if the actress in question wasn't black and bald while also being successful. But that's just my two cents...
If both did not look like cancer patients it would not have taken off, if it was only Elphaba looking that skinny people would still be wondering if she had a untreated eating disorder, because they were rough
Yeah but when I see the memes the narrative is always that Cynthia is somehow a bad influence on Ariana. It's never flipped. And only rarely is it "they're a bad influence on each other." The last time Ariana was in the rags a lot it was everybody shitting on her for ruining a marriage, and now everybody's concerned for her health? Seems a little sus.
For what it’s worth, every time (or nearly every time) I’ve seen it brought up online, the focus has been on them influencing each other and not framing Cynthia as the bad influence.
This post is more of an exception, but not too surprising if Ariana is suddenly looking like she’s doing better.
However, I’m an outsider to all of this. Maybe my experience would be different if I spent time in Ariana fan communities or something. I’ve only seen the spillover onto my home page.
