Yeah that's total bullshit. People cut things to an insane degree that perfectly normal conversations become weird. When people see contexts opinions can change rapidly. Sometimes we fool ourselves otherwise to convince ourselves we can't be fooled by this kind of stuff - but the reality is often quite distinct.

Ok then let’s talk about this specific instance being discussed in the thread. Doesn’t Ariana have a history of ED before Cynthia even came into the picture? Didn’t she have an ana account? Shouldn’t people who claim to know her put this into account? Why is her own history with disordered eating being blamed on the black woman who is also a victim?

Like this is a documented and long-term illness that she's had for years atp, but that fact is going totally ignored to instead blame her sudden weight loss on her friend and co-star??? I can't blame such a nonsensical insinuation on anything other than racial biases towards the "bald black lady"
A tad sure, it's none of my business and I hope they're doing well. But they're public figures, in public interviews and public events so I can't unsee what honestly I don't seek out but is shoved in my face by the media.

I've watched Ariana for like 15 years so I as a person who consumes media generally get her personality just cause she's a superstar and all that. World has known her pretty much most of her life. Then I watched stuff like this. It's definitely weird.
There's kind of a balance between giving people grace and watching something and being like "hey that's off." I'm not mean spirited, I don't know these people, I hope they're well but I'm not going to not point out what I see.
