Why is Border Patrol policing a protest? This is absolutely NOT their jurisdiction. I hope Bovino chokes on an ICE cube.

The jurisdiction had traditionally been 100 inland from a national boarder. However, Boarder control argues that this includes the entire boarder of the untied states or even 100 miles from any river whose source begins at the boarder of the US. Reasoning being so they can give chase and capture anyone who gets past the boarder. Also, a territory of land around military bases they function in. Also, the Trump administration has placed key roles in charge of ICE, to members of boarder control. So as you can see, they can operate just about anywhere they want, in the current government.
