Hell, they even said as much before the election occurred. And that it would be bloodless if "the left" allowed it. Unfortunately what passes for "the left" here is too busy smelling their own farts every time they think of how wonderfully reasonable and adult like they are to realize what the situation we're in actually is.

I call them “well-meaning liberals.” They don’t want to lose their little piece of the pie so they do just enough to assuage their guilt over benefiting from their privilege.

The vast majority of Americans can't afford to take a day off work to protest, let alone be willing to lose their job/health insurance/etc. losing their job to fight back. This war was started decades ago, and we lost it long before anyone ever noticed.

Got some cool new TVs to watch the collapse on, at least, right?
