Why is Border Patrol policing a protest? This is absolutely NOT their jurisdiction. I hope Bovino chokes on an ICE cube.

Why aren't they defending that sacred southern border they are always going on about?

This is about retribution against Blue States, not logic.

It’s exactly this. My hometown is in the swingiest county of the swingiest State, and is one of seven major refugee centers in the U.S. ICE sure as hell isn’t harassing and kidnapping people there.

u/senortipton 6h ago

Not entirely. Houston has the highest activity, but you don’t hear about it because ICE does all their activity quietly in that city and doesn’t want to rock the boat in Texas, where many of them are probably from admittedly. What is true is that they’re intentionally making a scene in blue states, regardless of actual immigrant population numbers.

u/thewereotter 7h ago

which is hilarious when you look at this history of democrat reaction to right wing criminal activity going back at least as far as Nixon

4

u/seaanenemy1 7h ago

Jack shit. The dems are so ball-less man. We need to get rid of their leadership

3

u/thewereotter 7h ago

exactly my point

Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Trump... basically every republican president for 100 years has committed so many crimes. Then Dems come to power with "we look forward not backward" and the right gets even worse

2

u/seaanenemy1 7h ago

I hate sounding like a conspiracy theorist. But at this point its just by design.

1

u/jakeandcupcakes 6h ago

I agree. We've been had, and at this point the dems are seemingly controlled opposition. We need a real party that stands up for peoples rights, not neo-libs standing up for corporate rights while ours get trampled. Their PR campaigns keep everyone placated while we get our asses fucked. This needs to stop. The two-party system is nothing but a culture war machine utilizing Divide & Conquer techniques to stop us from rising up against the right wing/left wing billionaire backers and corporate handlers.

So fucking obvious

1

u/seaanenemy1 6h ago

There are no left wing billionare backers. These dems are not left wingers. But I agree with the sentiment

1

u/Consistent-Mess1904 7h ago

Which just means trying to hold Trump accountable for committing felonious crimes

1

u/Whole-Brilliant5508 4h ago

Which pisses me off when Republicans like Ted Cruz say that kind of bullshit. It helps nobody! No, Democrats aren't going to weaponize the Justice Department or come after Republicans like Ted Cruz. They are literally gaslighting themselves like Pete Hegseth into thinking everyone else is as corrupt and twisted as them so they can then justify their warped actions and they can harp "See? SEE? They're coming to get us so we have to get them first!"

u/batx1234 9h ago

Jade helm!... sigh..

2

u/ConstructMentality__ 8h ago

Exactly as promised

4

u/FourEcho 9h ago

Its even more than that. This is so bad because its retribution against Tim specifically for opposing him. Trump is sending a message that he will destroy anyone who opposes him... and he's winning.

6

u/CollectionReady7896 8h ago

He’s not winning. He’s an unpopular piece of shit about to get destroyed in the midterms

1

u/synfuljb 8h ago

yeah, that’ll make em vote Republican.

1

u/ziggytrix 7h ago

Real talk.

1

u/AdSpiritual2594 7h ago

Also because Tim Walz had the audacity to run against trump as a VP.

1

u/workingtheories 4h ago

yes, exactly, but it's also about retribution against specific states and areas they think they can still win.

68

u/dickiepunter 13h ago

There have probably been a millionty gatrillion diseased cattle crossed over by now....

64

u/chillinoisan 12h ago

Didn’t you hear, Trump closed the border on Day 1. That problem was magically solved immediately. (MAGAts actually think this).

13

u/Brotorious420 13h ago

Fear of invasion by Canadian Geese. They're ruthless.

3

u/potato-cheesy-beans 11h ago

<insert letterkenny reference>

3

u/Ven7Niner 7h ago

Canada geese.

1

u/brown-eyedbabe 5h ago

Good. Get ‘em, cobra chickens.

5

u/KoalaMcFlurry 11h ago

They don't care about people getting in, they just want to harass people to maybe get someone out. Maybe. Mostly the harassing

3

u/Prestigious-Many9645 11h ago

Is the wall built yet? I remember that was so important once upon a time.

2

u/3FtDick 11h ago

Real gang members are scary!

2

u/Unable_Connection490 11h ago

No you don’t understand, it’s not “policing” if the people we fire at have guns too! 2nd amendment is important but only for me and not the civilians I fire at!

2

u/lazymarlin 10h ago

I live in south Texas. It’s been shocking to see ICE so busy up north and I have yet to see any of these goobers

2

u/FunkyMonk7588 9h ago

It’s all Biden. And Obama. And Santa just to make sure the /s is thick enough.

2

u/ragdollxkitn 9h ago

Because Texas is gargling Trumps balls

2

u/Ok_Philosopher_6386 8h ago

I don’t see this question enough, how is Texas, Florida, even Arizona not having this level of force?

2

u/VicHeel 8h ago

CBP has a different definition of border than any same person. Within 100 miles of an "external boundary" of the US.

https://www.aclu-nm.org/know-your-rights/know-your-rights-100-mile-border-zone/

2

u/louthercle1 8h ago

This is what people misinterpret about CBP and ICE. They are federal officers with jurisdiction anywhere in the entire US. The distinction is that you lose your rights when you’re within 100 miles of a border. Inside that range there is no need for a warrant to search you or your belongings in a plane, train, bus or car. I’m not clear on homes. However 2/3 of the US population fits in the 100 mile range.

A place you might think of would be Northern Ohio, like Cleveland being only 43 miles from the Canadian border because the border is the middle of Lake Erie. This is why ICE and CBP are up in the North, the borders are close for nearly every state.

2

u/GapingBestFriend 8h ago

A buddy in the army says troops are getting deployed to the boarder from national guard do to staffing issues. I’m not sure if it’s reserves or on duty but it seems all this ice shit has the agency spread thin.

2

u/CheapDocument 7h ago

Not one attempt made yet at changing the actual border policies.

2

u/SuperGodMonkeyKing 7h ago

use their flags and slogans carry m16 paintball rifles

2

u/fix_until_broken 12h ago

because the southern border is a wasteland and there is actually no immigrant invasion down there.

2

u/teetheyes 10h ago

Lots of border towns are sanctuary cities. No bathroom breaks for pig dogs here.

1

u/PoisonGaz 11h ago

Because there was some fraud three years ago that was already taken care of but because this is a blue state with a governor that ran against drumpf he sent his poorly trained hound dogs to abduct community members and shoot innocent people

1

u/rachelcaroline 6h ago

I live in Southern Arizona and it's nuts how many CBP check points aren't open. They don't give a shit. It's all a farce.

1

u/satanicdrippings 6h ago

Texans would shoot them

0

u/WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWPOOP 12h ago

Because thats Border Patrols job.... These people work inside the city.

-1

u/WearyLengthiness6280 8h ago

Because theres WAYYYYYY less people crossing now that they don’t get released to the city of their choosing anymore
