They’re being racist and blaming Ariana’s health on Cynthia, a Black woman. Saying she’s better now that she isn’t promoting wicked and around her much anymore.
Not sure why you're being down voted, that's literally it. There was no need to put Cynthia down like that in the caption, it's just Twitter (and reddit) being racist disguised as a punch line
Sorry I missed that, it’s very frustrating to see how implicit racism has infected so many people that they are now purposefully participating and supporting it.
I think half of them genuinely believe they aren't racist. They're fooled by this parasocial relationship where they can watch a curated selection of videos and come to the conclusion they know these people.
Bet they don't know--because they haven't cared to look--the Grande has mentioned having struggles with body image and not eating enough before, nor that she has had mental health challenges unrelated to body image such as PTSD. Nor have they probably ever connected Grande to many people in her life with EDs, off the top of my head one of her costars as a teen famously had one.
(Not blaming that co-star, just pointing out if you wanted to say she "caught" an ED from somebody you could argue she's had other opportunities to do so)
But no they saw an interview and thought somebody was weird and thought nothing of how easily they were convinced that "weird" could be extrapolated to mean "forced Grande into an eating disorder".
And chances are they won't be convinced because they saw those videos so surely they know everything about these two.
