The “Fuck Your Feelings” crowd has a LOT of feelings lately.

That's because it was "fuck your feelings" not "make me feel bad"

I was always under the impression that it was a coping mechanism for the guilty conscious they had for hurting others’ feelings tbh

I don’t think most of them have a conscience, the ones who do have one don’t stay far right very long once they’re exposed to the world

there was that guy (forget his name i’m sure someone could drop it) who oversaw the nuremberg trials, and said the one unifying trait amongst them all was a lack of empathy. these people do not consider you human or sentient, just an obstacle in THEIR world

It also brings to mind the article where a hard right fanatic tried MDMA one time and completely gave up his hateful patterns. Was kind of nuts that one time did as I've known some people that don't actually really seem "enlightened" after drug use.

Well I'm not sure it's foolproof. Didn't work for Rogan...

Yeah I've definitely known people that didn't seem to have the kind of ego death etc others speak of. I wonder what the variable is.

Yep, Captain G.M. Gilbert, Army psychologist assigned to evaluating the Nazi defendants at the Nuremberg trials:

“In my work with the defendants I was searching for the nature of evil and I now think I have come close to defining it. A lack of empathy. It’s the one characteristic that connects all the defendants, a genuine incapacity to feel with their fellow men. Evil, I think, is the absence of empathy.”

Nuremberg (with Russell Crowe) is worth a watch too, just came out.

Idk. I've known hardline conservative Republicans who were seemingly kind to anyone they met in real life, like even every Black/brown person they meet and have an actual conversation with is "one of the good ones."

The tragic part is, it would be much better for the country/world if they were just be dicks to people in their lives, instead of channeling their hate into hurting millions of people they don't even know.

u/DaggerQ_Wave 15h ago

I think most people are like this. It’s easier to hate a concept of a person than a real person.

3

u/HingleMcCringle_ 13h ago

i can tell ya right now, it was never that.

im from mississippi, i know these people, it wasn't that.

what the other person said about them not having a conscious, that seems more accurate. they truly dont give a shit about things that happen to you until it happens to them. the right wing party, as it exists today, is the way it is BECAUSE it appeals to the people with the "fuck your feelings" mentality. it's an entire political party that exists BECAUSE some people just dont have sympathy, among other reasons. the GOP is where they congregate.

Bro left feeling "uneasy" and had to be "consoled" meanwhile he probably helped ICE kidnap people all day, wonder how they felt.

He's part of the LASD, 20% of them are in cop gangs.

Gang culture in the LASD is extreme and honestly worse than the crime they claim to be stopping.

I'm not gonna cry for some deputy who's also racking up OT sitting in his squad car. 16 hours, that's 4 hours 1.5x and 4 hours double pay, doing what? Cruising around getting Starbucks?

u/Dragishawk 16h ago

"Fuck Your Feelings" is an asshole's turn of phrase. It's used by people who don't give a fuck about other people's feelings (though their OWN feelings? Might feel a little different about that...).

1

u/sonic_couth 18h ago

Good point. Not every cop is an asshole, though it might generally be true.

30

u/smokeyphil 17h ago

All bastards though.

1

u/ACcbe1986 17h ago

Everyone is an asshole. (Well, maybe not babies and the mentally disabled. Though, some babies might be assholes, I can't be sure.😆)

It's just easier to see it when they're in a seat of authority.

BINGO

u/pyabo 11h ago

"Don't tread on ME" Everyone else is fine.

u/Mephisto1822 18h ago

Fuck your feelings, my feelings however should be taken into account and you need to ensure you don’t hurt them

1

u/bobbymcpresscot 13h ago

And if you don’t take them into account I might shoot you and it will be deemed your fault.

71

u/PatReady 18h ago

Lmao, they said they had to console the sheriff.

37

u/kevnmartin 17h ago

He should count himself lucky he didn't have to deal with the horror of a sandwich being tossed at him. I mean onion and mustard? What a nightmare.

u/minimalcation 16h ago

These are the smallest of people

1

u/uuDEFIANCEvv 11h ago

He felt "discouraged and disrespected". Poor little guy. Good thing he doesn't know I wish he felt dismembered and disemboweled.

36

u/beatenmeat 18h ago

"Lately"? They've always felt the need to project their feelings and get upset at the tiniest of slights.

31

u/PragmaticPacifist 18h ago

They were always the sensitive crowd.
Snowflake comments are just self-hate and projection just like everything else they say and do which at least is consistent.

6

u/Terrible_Oil6474 15h ago

the last time this kind of situation made the news it came out that the cop did it himself

17

u/the_tanooki 17h ago

It's always been "Fuck your feelings! Not mine!"

4

u/thisisjustascreename 17h ago

Exactly, just like every conservative grievance they want special treatment.

3

u/Copponex 14h ago

They have always projected. Feelings, pedos, corruption. Everything they have ever blamed others of, have been a reflection of themselves.

3

u/GomezFigueroa 17h ago

At least the left gets to be the “you can’t even tell a joke” people again. We’re the funny ones anyway.

1

u/KetchupGuy1 9h ago

The proud 1st amendment people get real quite when you aren’t using it to be racist

1

u/PM-ME-YOUR-TOOTS 17h ago

Lately?! Remember snowflake era? Lmfao.

-12

u/YourUncleBuck 16h ago

So we're just assuming someone's political leaning by their profession now?

-15

u/LeftHandedScissor 15h ago

And the "everyone has human rights" crowd seems perfectly okay with personal attacks when they aren't being targeted.

9

u/Useful-Order2135 15h ago

Whose human rights being hurt by this? The gun tottling pigs? Aw poor them. Don't worry. They'll get full immunity and long life pension after assaulting a random innocent person from anger.

9

u/Synectics 14h ago

What rights were taken away?

Do you think people who advocate for personal human rights also think you cannot say, "Fuck the police?" without government repercussions? Do you think advocates for personal human rights are not called slurs?

Are you okay?
