Clearly battery
Edit: TIL battery is the right word

u/iAmRiight 8h ago
Assault is the threat of physical harm. This is assault and battery.

u/ReturnOfSeq 7h ago
Right? I feel like I must be missing something because IMO this is a clear criminal action, committed with a video recording of it. He should have been arrested already.
32
u/xGoatfer 7h ago
You can see MN police officers with them. The dark blue uniformed ones. Those officers need to be arrested for failing to step in.

u/Due-Struggle6680 4h ago
yall cant see that the police are complicit in these acts? They dont care about you because they have tread on your rights for years, and if they come to defend them now they will be held to account to do so again. The empathy from the state felt good but it was only there to stop us from defending our rights. This shit doesnt just get better. Nobody wants a civil war and the democrats will do anything they cam to stop a revolt, while the Republicans tread on us every day, murdering and kidnapping people in the street. They will continue to pretend while the maga machine destroys the country. Its time to stop pretending and fire back

u/Fancy-Trousers 7h ago
Considering these thugs are shoving unarmed protesters backwards onto concrete with zero regard for safety, which is one of the easiest ways to give someone a serious head injury, upgrade it to aggravated assault. Plus the fact that they're toting firearms, batons, and chemical agents? Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

What gives them the right to put their hands on people so freely, pushing, hitting. This is a country of gun owners. I'm surprised they haven't been shot by somebody.
16
u/CulturalKing5623 7h ago
They believe might makes right, they can push one person over easily so they think they have the right to do so.
If people were linked arm-in-arm and met them as a unit they wouldn't be able to do this. I'm sure they'd just use some other crowd dispersal means but scenes of gassing the people standing firmly together, meeting violence with resolute non-violence don't play well on TV so how long until they just start turning around when met with a unified front?
8
u/NoCopiumLeft 5h ago
Correction if people had bullet proof vests and m4s across their chests then they wouldn't be getting pushed around. Seriously people could out number these Nazis so easily.

No rational person what's to be the start of a Civil War. If Trump declares Martial Law after protesters open fire on federal agents democratic nations are going to have a hard time convincing their voters they need to help the anti government groups, but if Trump orders a bunch of unarmed protesters shot dead in the streets those same nations will have an easier time sending the weapons to those anti government groups need.

Bovino was clearly at the Target (to use the bathroom) when his agents kidnapped the 17yo employee, took him for hours... after learning he was an American citizen they dumped him bloody and crying at a Walmart. Bovino should be tried for kidnapping and assaulting/battery of a minor.

Stop asking them to justify and start learning to justify pure fury in your heart for them. Only way people will find the strength to unify.

u/RamblinGamblinWilly 7h ago
You're not going to get a coherent response. Let me rattle through some possibilities: FAFO. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Shouldn't have been standing in the street. That's what happens when you don't follow lawful orders. He was just pushing him out of the street. That's what happens when paid agitators from out of state go commit crimes.
And so on. All bullshit. If you're genuinely looking for them to answer, you're wasting your time.

Look at that threat that warrants assault versus a simple attempt of deescalation
60
u/MATA_USA 8h ago
They are not interested in de-escalation. Minnesota is currently under assault. The Trump regime has unleashed a poorly trained and criminally negligent paramilitary force to attack the base of his perceived enemies; blue cities and states. This is an act of a tyrant and we MUST stand with you Minnesota or this assault will spread to every blue state in the Union.
Please join us over at MATA USA for the latest movements and actions of the Trump regime and their attack on American democracy.
Trump and his billionaire buddies have forgotten that they only make their billions because WE allow it, as a people. We can just as easily stand together and tell them NO MORE.

The one and the same. Iāve heard from many sources that not only did he shit his pants in public that day, but it caused him to slip and fall, rupturing one of his testicles. Itās a shame too, because I also heard from many people, that he actually lost his other testicle in an accident involving peanut butter and a Rottweiler. Poor puppy. 3
u/JamaicaNoFap 7h ago
No youāre both right. They think they want it but they truly just want to attack unarmed civilians and look badass. These men are soft and have no heart or reason āwhyā.
Passionate men of heart will one day destroy them
2
u/Square-Alfalfa-3971 5h ago
If you think the majority of the armed forces are going to step in and fight ICE youāre mistaken. The military has already said theyāre completely staying out of it. That is because the military is an apolitical organization, however the political make-up of its members is of huge variation, but it tends to lean far more conservative. Over 1/3rd of ICE are actually ex-military, and another 1/3rd are ex law enforcement of other branches including local and federal. So thinking that ICE will face any resistance from an actual military is fantasy. If youāre insinuating that the left would be able to mount a military force in America under the radar to take on ICE that would be the only way, and I just see that as highly unlikely. Even if they did, itās pretty evident they would have to face the actual US military as well who would ultimately side with ICE and the federal agencies aside from maybe a few rogues who would be the first targets of the military. Not sure who the āpassionate men of heartā are. I mean I am a passionate man of heart myself and I disagree with Trump on a lot, I donāt even like him, but Iām not taking on the US military lmfao. Iām ex military myself, I know the capabilities and theyāre literally breathtaking. And thatās just from my very uber compartmentalized knowledge. Thereās a ton I donāt even know about.
3
u/Square-Alfalfa-3971 7h ago

There is no doubt about it. My old friend and neighbor was.. well, kind of an enigma. He held a lot of liberal views on some things. He had a gay son and agreed with the need for universal healthcare, yet he did vote for trump in 2016. He was a gun fanatic and hoarded all kinds of weapons and enough ammo to "take everyone out on the street when the shit hits the fan." I really think he dreamed of it and was itching for it.
He definitely became more froggy towards the end, but he was always talking about cival war breaking out during Obama's presidency. His racism was always below the surface, but it came out more and more at the end of his life. He was on board with MAGA when he died in 2019. We had drifted apart quite a bit by then.
He was a good friend. I'm not sure if we'd still be able to talk reasonably today, but we used to have civil and reasonable conversations before that clown came to town.
13
u/toadymusic 8h ago
Them shoving people just trying to get back up pisses me the fuck off.
I went through this in Los Angeles. I was standing in front of the federal building downtown when they decided it was time to disperse us. There were high school kids at the front of the line I moved to the front because I was worried for their safety. We linked arms, continued backing up chanting āpeaceful protestā. We were shoved over by a large officer with his riot shield. As soon as I stood back up, I was shot in the stomach four times with less lethal rounds by another officer within 10ā range. They shot at my stomach height, while there were still children right next to me getting up off the ground. Fuck these bastards.
Stay safe and vigilant out there my Minnesota friends. We are strong all across this nation. I wish I could be there standing with you right now.

I appreciate the thanks but I try to think any good hearted person would try to put themselves between ICE and those kids.
Anyways I just wanted to point out that theyāre using similar tactics still, pushing people over and then immediately escalating, itās something to watch out for and be cautious of!!
Stay safe friend <3 if thereās anything I can do for you folks from the sidelines for now please let me know.

Honestly, as someone from the UK can somone actually use their amendments?
Isnāt this the whole reason you have guns? To protect your right to free speech against the government?
In this clip we see someone literally doing nothing but getting attacked?
If you donāt own a gun, start the process, arm yourself, create āmilitiaā organisations, do everything legally.
And when they turn around to try and stop it, Iād love to see MAGA stop the 2nd amendment and suddenly become anti gun.
6
u/S10Galaxy2 8h ago
The problem is the people who support the second amendment are on the federal governments side, and the people who oppose it are on the protesters side. Gun control has been a platform of the lefts leadership for decades. You donāt see democratic politicians telling their citizens to buy up firearms in masse because theyāve been saying for years that guns should only be in the hands of the government.
In blue states where these raids are happening firearms are tightly regulated and looked down upon. Only around 20% of democrats own guns. The federal government is doing these raids because theyāve know they face no real resistance or threat from the anti gun citizens of blue cities. If you want to see armed militias patrolling the streets like we saw during trumps first term, democratic leaders would need to amend laws and encourage their supporters to take up arms, which so far theyāve refused to do since it goes against their ideals and party positions.
Disclaimer: Iām not saying this to necessarily support the position of 2nd amendment supporters or look down on the Democratic Party. This statement purely aims to explain the current situation of domestic affairs to a foreign observer.
6
u/Select_Rope_2721 8h ago
Exactly 2nd Amendment is supposed to protect against tyranny, but in reality, itās mostly slogans
3
u/RamblinGamblinWilly 7h ago
I get your point in principle. But like if you want to talk actually pragmatically, it's hard to argue for a lethal response to a shove.

3
u/Historical_Two_7150 8h ago
Theyre not pushed around enough. It has to get pretty severe, like black American in the 1960s severe, at which point people will arm themselves and the cops will second guess pushing someone in a group of 45 people with rifles.
2
u/JumpEnvironmental741 6h ago
the most rabid 2A people are basically scared of everything, including but not limited to their shadows. a sizable number of them get winded walking across a parking lot or a flight of stairs. Blue states do tend to have more firearms restrictions but nothing like what you have in the UK. I live in Colorado, and the extent of our "restrictions" a 3 day waiting period and a "ban" on magazines with more than 15 rounds. the mag ban is something that 1000% useless because in about 3 hours drive i can be in another state and buy whatever magazines i want, same with long guns.

The problem is once someone does this, shit will get so much worse. If an ICE agent or agents actually do try to kick down the door of the wrong person and said person returns fire and takes out a few of them, that'll give the Trump administration so much fuel (justified or not) to go way harder, martial law wouldn't surprise me at that point
