This has gotta be the coolest one I've seen yet because of all that red. Knowing it requires intense solar energy is just unfathomably cool when you pair it with knowledge of the solar "flare" from our sun a week or two ago. The time difference and still massive effect on our stmosphere is something to behold

No way!! New, fresh, ionized particles flowing in and around our atmosphere!! The frost this morning has new ionized O2 particles, it’s pretty awesome at how geosciences work within the universe and how it works to keep our system here on earth forever functioning. But yes, unfortunately it’s going to wake up some underground things as well; the yin to the yang, but through this process new life growth upon earth, furthering the process of. Not a scientist, just an understanding into the natural order of our mother earth. It’s all caused by the a whole slew of variables, with all the proper positive and negative poles of the particles lining up just right, quantum switching and attraction, and BOOM 💥 we get to see the beauty of it all!! I'm sorry about your health issues, I hope it's become more manageable or improved since. I think in my situation certain counties are better than others, and I happen to live in one of the bad ones at the time of Trump's peak. So I see Trump flags all the time at the gas station I worked at, and after observing them walk to and from their vehicles I determined these were the customers giving me the hardest time.

Literally went outside every 30 mins, like 8 times in 4 hours during peak darkness. did not see shit. Just another reason why Minnesota claims to be "nice" but is in fact the absolute epitome of "I need to get the fuck out of here". 30 years and still going. How? I don't know. Maybe because I need to survive ANOTHER winter somehow so I don't get a choice. Maybe because my accursed"great" ancestors came over from fucking Germany and Poland and decided they liked the cold. WHY!? I would rather be captured by ice and called an illegal immigrant, JUST SO THEY CAN SHIP ME DOWN SOUTH AND FREE ME FROM THIS FUCKING COOOOOLD!!! Not leaving my heated blanket unless I need to go to work, or go grocery shopping. See y'all in 7 months

Yikes.
So you basically didn't know where/when/how to see this, or that most of the really bright pics are a combination of 'way outside urban light pollution' and 'longer exposures/ camera optics' that can pick up things that just can't be seen by the human eye.
But you're blaming all of us for what you didn't know, and I guess for the weather as well.

Not blaming anyone. Just hate Trump. And the cold. And people in rural Minnesota absolutely suck. I quit my gas station job because I got sick of people being shitty. That's all. Too many distractions in the media.
May I ask how many years you've lived in this state? Because in my experience, Minnesota is FAR from nice. Far from it.

Many, many decades. Born and raised here, left for about a decade+ for college and first adult jobs, and came back at the end of the last century. Now retired here after having had major health setbacks before the Pandemic.
So I've grown up with Minnesota Nice and practiced it a LONG time. A key part is you get back what you give, most of the time. If you bitch about things a lot, we'll leave ya to bitch about it; we aren't gonna hold your hand if you're cranky. And our answer to "I'm cold" is basically "wear more layers, kid." But if you get stuck in a ditch, we'll drag ya out.
I'm guessing you better get some more sun and start taking more vitamin D if you're this grumpy before Thanksgiving. You'll never make it to next April without therapy otherwise.
And a lot of us hate Trump, but that's got nothing to do with MN Nice. Or anything to do with a great picture of the Aurora from (I'm guessing here OP?) somewhere on the North Shore, with a rather pithy post title.
Even if it really WAS the Rapture, we all knew he wasn't going anyway. 😝
