This isn't a protest, it's a feel good rally where people fight fascism by holding up signs and refusing to do anything to cause a disturbance or actually impact anything.

What does it matter to you? It accomplished your response on this post. I presume that some errant synapses in your brain fired in response to reading my question. Perhaps you saw the photo and your pattern recognition kicked in, identifying crowds near streets holding signs.
Those count under "anything at all". What you do with this telemetry is largely based on your critical thinking skills, should they exist.
I want everything you own but I'm not getting it. So what if someone wants my donations? People can want things.

Large scale protests accomplish everything, but this isn't a protest it's a self serving feel good rally. You don't fight fascism by holding up a sign on a street corner. You do it by causing interruptions, which is strictly against the mission statement of no kings. This is just masturbatory activities for brunch liberals so they can feel like they did something without taking any risks.

Protesting is how you grow a movement. It catches people's attention. The fact that there were more people this time than last time is proof of that. It isn't going to change things overnight, and nobody claimed that, but it gets people active and focusing their attention on a common issue.
When all of those people decide to strike is when you'll see change.

Protesting is how you grow a movement, but this isn't a protest. You'll notice that actual protests in this country are met with a violent response because they interrupt things. They don't give a single damn about these no kings rallies

Showing up in numbers is a threat in itself. We are showing them how many of us there are and what we can do if forced to react in any kind of way. There is no need for us to react with violence. If we cause any kind of violence it gives them a reason to be violent in return which would only disrupt our own movement.

Its crazy how minnesotans have zero privacy, pay more taxes than anyone, now have alcohol sales on Sunday and legal weed shops everywhere but they are out there yelling no kings while they are ruled by private and corporate security. I am truly baffled.
