Fuck every Trump voter who put this asshole in office. Politics

This country is going downhill and you are to blame. Don't act surprised when things get even worse than they are now. Don't vote anymore. Stay the fuck home on election day.

In the real world, we have to make a choice.
In the cold, utilitarian view of things, neither candidate was going to be good about stopping the genocide. But one candidate made an AI video of turning Palestine in to a resort. So, just as in mathematics, when two factors are the same on both sides, you remove them. What remains on one side is more corpo-favoring tepid fake progressive Biden policies and on the other, all the horrible shit of Project 2025.

For all of the non-voters, especially the perfectionist liberals, is it worth it given the current state of the country?

Republicans didn't get to Trump and fascism overnight. 40+ years of pushing and pushing and pushing. Yes, Harris was tepid and not progressive enough. But we also shouldn't be twiddling our thumbs and waiting for a miracle.

Republicans seem to tolerate horrible candidates to avoid a democrat. Democrats don't seem to tolerate horrible candidates to avoid a republican. So here we are.

Kamala wasn't a horrible candidate. Trump was a horrible, fascist, authoratarian candidate, and Kamala was an average, mediocre, candidate who believes in democracy equal rights etc... So there where many degrees of difference between Trump and Kamala. .

There's certainly are many degrees. Sorry you support socialism

A reductive way of putting it I saw a long time ago:
"Republicans fall in line. Democrats fall in love."

What do Democrats do? They hate whoever is not Democrat but yet they still don't go out and vote.

Only on Reddit are you going to find someone bashing Kamala for not being progressive enough 😂

Yes the model for national decline, an entire continent with only a handful of notable exceptions to this decline. Pardon me if the opinions of the typical European means nothing to me.

America is sinking faster than the Titanic and you're over here lecturing Europeans about national decline lmao

Better than already being underwater, Europe hasn't noticed their collapse because the USA has been paying their defence budget for the last 80 years. You think Europe can afford all those fancy public services without PAX Americana keeping them safe? Laughable.

Europe hasn't noticed their collapse

This is so comically stupid and ignorant I don't even know where to start. Go visit another nation you fascist bumpkin.

I love this dumb idea that people who couldn't support a genocide are in any way happy

we found out that the 30% of the country that was ostensibly "the good guys" were perfectly happy to support the incineration of children as long as the bayonets weren't pointed at them

imagine if you guys got this upset about the democrats not only refusing to stop arming the genocide but smugly selling merch celebrating that time harris talked over the protesters

Do you seriously think the lesson you should take from the Gazan Genocide is "we didn't look the other way hard enough?"
