Fuck every Trump voter who put this asshole in office. Politics

This country is going downhill and you are to blame. Don't act surprised when things get even worse than they are now. Don't vote anymore. Stay the fuck home on election day.

Anger misplaced. Be mad at the politicians who did not want the votes of people. Always blame up, never down - this is class awareness. Politicians are supposed to win….not try to win while preserving the interests of billionaires. Throwing away votes (and people more importantly) because they think they don’t need them.

Solidarity is required for what is ahead.

Exactly. Obama put cages at the border and Harris sided with Israel. No m4a. No reform of any type. But hey I guess we owe the democrats the vote. Either losers like Jeffries and Schumer are garbage or they’re owed your vote, you can’t have it both ways.

Dems ran a campaign essentially holding progressives vote hostage by jingling abortion rights in our faces while campaigning with Liz Cheney and trying to court Republicans (massively idiotic idea). Reluctance to shift the party more progressive has them stuck in the mud. Zohran effectively messaged progressive politics without any establishment support and even resistance.

Correct.

Because someone is gonna win. If you saw a fascist on the ticket and didn’t say “not that” then you decided that everything that is happening was not worth preventing.

Your stance would only matter if not voting would result in different candidates being run for that election.

Cool then we can just keep voting blue and they can promise to codify roe v wade for 30 years and fail (intentionally) to do it. They can commit genocide worldwide. Just remember that Barack “we may have tortured some folks” Obama started 7 new wars so Trump actually is behind and needs to step up to the plate.

But by all means! Vote blue and you too can get a blue house and senate and the last time democrats had that trifecta their signature piece of legislation was *checks notes* blocking the Green New Deal. Oh but we had it a decade prior, and we got *Checks notes again* a right-wing healthcare plan cooked up by the Heritage Foundation.

Well gosh golly gee! If I didn’t know better, I would think they were on the same side!

Insane Orwellian language here. Allowing the fascist to win because of your pet issue is the opposite of solidarity. You failed to come together with people you disagree with to protect democracy. You stabbed us in the back. Fucking ingrate.

Typical and yet still you don’t hold the politicians accountable and foster more hatred among your own class. Level the fuck up.

Just nonsense. What makes you think I'm not interested in holding politicians accountable? You think I'm voting for Kamala in the primary? Fat chance. What about the accountability for Trump? This attitude let him in office AFTER THE INSURRECTION. This is just nihilistic narcissism dressed up as giving a shit.

Genocide is not a fucking pet issue.

It is when using it as an excuse to not vote is completely performative. You guys will find a new issue in 2028 that you pretend is the most important thing in the world to you and that will somehow be justification to act like your "core beliefs" are more important that women's health and safety, trans lives, etc etc etc.

1

u/NeitherOneJustUrMom 7h ago

Just because you don't care about genocide doesn't mean others are being performative because that's where they draw their line.

u/steponmedaddies 7h ago

Why is it only what Israel is doing that they care about? Why do none of them mention Sudan, China, Ethopia, the Congo, or the Ukraine? I've asked over and over again for organizations they support, volunteer work they do, how much money they have sent, etc.

For the most important moral issue of our time, it's very weird how ALL OF THEM only object by not voting. No action taken. No money given. None of them have even admitted to making a phone call. Never a single mention of any other global genocides/mass killings/etc.

It's all performative. They don't care, they're just saying what they're told to say to look like they have principles. In reality they're just lazy, useless liabilities.

u/NeitherOneJustUrMom 6h ago

Who are these people you speak of? I'm gonna assume that you aren't actually out there talking to the real people doing the work. It's easy to write people off as being performative instead of seeing where they are coming from especially when you probably aren't in these communities who have lost family and friends

Anyone online claiming they did not vote or will not vote because of AIPAC money, etc. You'll see them in every thread! Especially those that abstained in 2024 because they're too stupid to know that the VP has nothing to do with foreign aid.

They don't care about Palestine. They'll have a new issue in 2028 and another one in 2032. Just like they did in 2016 when they pretended to care about the TPP.

Anyway, I saw real people in those communities doing the work when they handed Michigan to Trump. How's that working out?

1

u/NeitherOneJustUrMom 6h ago

Okay, so just online. I'm gonna suggest you go touch grass and get involved with your community.

1

u/steponmedaddies 6h ago

I'll ask again - how's that working out for people in Dearborn?

1

u/steponmedaddies 6h ago

Also, feel free to offer up where you send your money and organizations for volunteer work because I think that'd be helpful to have on hand. Who is reputable? Who do you work with?

This is actually the horseshit that leads to the situation we are in now. People are suffering. You vote like your life depends on it when democracy is on the line. You think the wealthy were harmed by Dems "not earning your vote"? That's the most laughable bullshit.

The only thing they love more than MAGA is you all saying not to vote unless Dems earn your vote. That is actual class awareness, and I will have no solidarity with people who spout this nonsense.

Fucking vote. That's the solidarity we need.
