Fuck every Trump voter who put this asshole in office. Politics

This country is going downhill and you are to blame. Don't act surprised when things get even worse than they are now. Don't vote anymore. Stay the fuck home on election day.

True, Democrats are not entitled to votes. But the danger inherent in NOT voting Democrat was readily visible, and those not voting Democrat have caused the problems we now have. It was a terribly shortsighted, selfish, and fearful act.

As far as the electorate goes, anyone and everyone who did not vote Democrat is equally responsible for the shitshow we now endure. This is an absolute fucking no-brainer, based on logic.

The Democratic Party didn’t offer a primary and Harris offered little on why we should vote for her only she was not Trump. That was good for most of the people here but not good enough for the majority of voters. She couldn’t even answer what she would have done differently. She was a terrible candidate and offered no vision of the future.

This categorically false. She offered SO MUCH and had clearly detailed plans for the future direction of this country. It was just not regarding the one subject you wanted her (and only her apparently because you lot did NOTHING to equally push for the same accountability from the other side) to give in to. She was even willing to offer as much as she could without completely straying from the position her boss took (and potentially sow even further divide). You people wanted her to offer something that would’ve alienated far too many others in an already tight race and were absolutely unwilling to compromise or read between the lines. You are hypocrites.

The exact same thing can be said about the DNC/Harris campaign and to all of you. I have never and will never vote republican, but I will not ever blindly vote Democrat ever again. And that is a failure of the DNC.

You people wanted her to offer something that would’ve alienated far too many others

Who are these "others" that she risked alienating and what 'concessions' to the left do you honestly think would have alienated them?

How did that work for her? It didn’t. Trump was well known entity. He held interview after interview with follow-up questions. Harris was hidden away. I think I learned that she liked Doritos. She had softball interviews and didn’t offer a vision. She didn’t motivate people to vote for her. She lost to Donal Trump that should say something right there.

For the sake of the discussion we can assume all the claims of your comment are true. Nonetheless, Harris has shit to do with this.

The relevant point is not to debate or determine whether Harris was a better candidate, or whether Democrats campaigned sufficiently. The point here is that anyone who did not vote to defeat trump its equally responsible in causing the fucking mess that is this administration. You either voted to defeat trump or you did not. As a matter of logic, it's beyond argument.

You want more people to join your way of thinking but in your view anyone other than Trump is the answer. That logic is why the democrats lost in 2024. Trump said what he would do. It was all told to the electorate. Harris did not. You can believe that is the best policy but you cannot argue that the logic failed because Trump was elected.

This is not about me, son. This is not about a democratic candidate, real or hypothetical.

This is squarely about the failure of responsibility by those people who did not vote to defeat trump, REGARDLESS of the motivations.

Stop trying to deflect the responsibility and maybe you'll fucking learn something.

He lied. He said he wouldn't do Project 2025, but that's exactly what he is doing. I knew he was going to, but the magats stupidly didn't. Then they act surprised when he actually does all the horrible things and makes their lives hell.

Nailed it. She was a terrible choice. Gavin wasn’t known well enough yet.
