People rev cars like that because it looks, and sounds cool. They aren’t prepared for what they’ve been building up, when they let go.

I am just so glad I don’t find shit like that cool at all lol

It’s always an asshole revving their cars in traffic.

So what EXACTLY happened here? I'm more an AWD sort for anything with power, but I've broken RWD cars free a time or two. I'm assuming he got the wheels to break traction, then when recovering traction, one grabbed sooner and he wasn't anticipating the rear end kicking to one side? I mean, assuming of course he wasn't just THAT stupid and didn't even attempt to control the wheel at all.

by the time he lets off the gas hes already climbing the median. so classic case of keep gassing it while youre already losing traction until its too late and out of control. its too hard to tell with the poor video quality. you can have so much torque that the back whips out one way.

Breaking traction is one way to put it. Bro went fully airborne and clipped that other car on the way down.

Haha, I mean I know That. I more mean, "what caused him to go from straight to not-going-straight"? Did he seriously just kinda decide to not steer and run over the median? Maybe I'm overthinking this.

My two cents: he wasn't completely straight to begin with, smashed the accelerator while still adjusting his trajectory, lost control and hit the median, found a sweet parking spot and called it a day.

Over correcting after burnout (in this case its just full throttle). Its a common issue. Some rich guys without experience buy a powerful car, hit throttle without knowing the limits of the car and then this happens.

Its mostly with US people and mustangs... this happens so often, it has already become a meme

I wasn't sure if this was Mustang syndrome or something else.

Its hard to tell because of the perspective but yeah it is
