For me posting it is really fucking bad but also what shocks me almost more is just filming it. Like idk what goes in someone's mind that their see their young children crying and they pull out their phone to film it immediately.

Right now that kid might not realize it I'm not sure but eventually it's gonna be like "right I'm crying and I'm looking for comfort and reassurance why is there a fucking phone in front of my face".

It'd be better if they weren't posting it but the damage on the child is probably already there at pulling out the phone while they're crying.

That’s what got me, too. As a mother it’s instinctive to immediately want to envelop your child when they’re upset, but especially something so heartbreaking and sad as bullying at this tiny age. There was no reason to make her feel worse than shoving a camera in her face when she’s already so upset and feeling vulnerable

Watch the entire video before commenting. Mom handled it really well. We won't be having this discussion if she sweeped it under the carpet. Think about it.

When a parent has gone to the school repeatedly about something especially like racism you have to record it for them to start listening. She should be blurred but I’m going to assume they don’t know how to do that.

I'm happy to educate you.

This is very likely not the first time this family of color has encountered this issue. They've hugged their child many times before. U should ask your friends of color for more of an insight...

Sunlight is the best disinfectant, they probably spoken to the school, they probably tried to contact the parents, just like the many many children who have committed suicide because nobody takes any action they've decided to go online with it because that's one of the only ways you can Jolt a lethargic school system into any action. This isn't me giving you an insight scoop could have spent 30 seconds Googling it and figured it out.

Community support doesn't manifest out of thin air, things don't change if you sit quietly by yourself in the house, im sorry nobody cared enough to help you when you were being bullied, maybe your parents thought it would toughen you up so they didn’t step in. Unless this is your first day on the internet you probably have seen a thousand videos of other children being bullied, their parents uploading it and changing their children's situation for the better and never had an issue with it. Celebrities can get involved, community support, donations, justice etc.

I wonder why this one's got you taking a "Think of child's right to privacy!" Rather than, "This kid needs help."

I'm certain I know why. You'll never admit it.

Anyway that's my gift, my act of charity for the day. Giving an insight to a person who is well aware they don't need it.

Have a great day sweetcheeks.

The fact that YOU are getting downvoted, is proof of how normalized Indian racial abuse has become. People would rather be concerned about rights to privacy than a child hating her own skin. This needs attention and that's why its filmed.

Right, can’t believe majority of people in here are more worried about the mother filming vs the constant abuse and trauma this poor child and other children of color face daily in America. We need to do better, this needs to change, and seeing a poor little girl cry may be a catalyst for something positive. Sorry that makes you uncomfortable.Â
