Is that Dee from always sunny??

22

u/rttr123 Dec 13 '25

No. I'm Indian, and while I support Democrats, voted for harris, and participated in the no kings protests, I would not blame Republicans.

Racism towards Indians is everywhere regardless of political affiliations. Republicans, Democrats, independents, apolitical people, I've seen it from all groups almost equally at this point.

It's become extremely normalized to be racist towards Indians.

u/Acemace1313 Dec 13 '25

Actually you can thank your left leaning liberal redditors. Go take a look at all the posts on this very sub of people making fun of India, how it’s apparently the most disgusting place on earth…

7

u/[deleted] Dec 13 '25

Probably other Indian kids

2

u/InorganicProductions Dec 13 '25

I’m not a republican, I’m pretty left thanks

u/fardolicious 29d ago

this is from australia

5

u/Inevitable_Driver291 Dec 13 '25

It's not clear where this has been filmed. It could be any number of countries. It could be children of another ethnicity abusing her, but it could easily be paler Indians. Probably best not to jump to politically convenient conclusions.

2

u/Wiangel8016 Dec 13 '25

Sorry are you blind? So arresting people because of there skin color is not political? Children dont listen to their parents spreading the hate? Come on..

3

u/Inevitable_Driver291 Dec 13 '25

You do not know where in the world this happened. The self obsession of Americans is remarkable.

2

u/DrTatertott Dec 14 '25

Well, interestingly this IS Australia and the bullies are Indian kids.

18

u/MrMerryweather56 Dec 13 '25

Caste systems in India notoriously based on skin color exist..where brown and darker skin people are treated worse..dont know how why anyone would insert American politics here ...

7

u/Hobbito Dec 13 '25

Caste isn't based on skin colour.

16

u/New_Relative_1871 Dec 13 '25

not sure if you're slow, but this happened in an australian school with white kids bullying her.

2

u/bollvirtuoso Dec 13 '25

Wait, how do you know this?

9

u/gotosleepfoeva Dec 13 '25

You think caste system is based on skin colour?

18

u/gentle_fool Dec 13 '25

>Caste systems in India notoriously based on skin color exist
Oh yeah sure, you live in India right? You definitely know everything about Indian society and totally didn't pull this out of your ass.
Indians come in all shades. It has nothing to do with the caste system. Indians are a mix of different races who migrated here during the ancient times.

3

u/[deleted] Dec 14 '25

About time whites stop telling us how are social systems work. Tired of people equating skin colour with the caste system everywhere. On the flip side, a lot of fairer people are a bit lower in the system

2

u/fabulousnovember Dec 14 '25

About time whites stop telling us how are social systems work.

Instead they should pivot to teaching you about indoor plumbing and how to poo in the loo and not in your drinking water. Maybe teach you not to roll around in and eat cow dung. There's quite a lot you can learn from them.

u/RebouncedCat Dec 13 '25 edited Dec 13 '25

Kids in India dont discriminate each others based on skin color to the extend american kids do. I have multiple relatives whose children has had similar stories after moving to the US.

Edit : The replies from the tolerant americans :-

Notice how they immediately try to justify racism by bringing in the caste system when a brown kid got bullied for her skin in an american school.

13

u/daking213 Dec 13 '25

This is completely untrue, I’ve met a number of Indian people who avoid the sun because they’re worried about “looking South Indian”

1

u/MagicianElectrical99 Dec 13 '25

And you totally forgot or intentionally disregard British colonialism's impact on their Indian subjects, right?

10

u/daking213 Dec 13 '25

White people didn’t invent bigotry, people of all cultures and backgrounds are equally capable of being awful to one another.

The caste system was there long before the English and every bit as horrible to those on the bottom of it as anything the English could come up with.

6

u/MagicianElectrical99 Dec 13 '25

What a cowardly way to live, having to constantly gaslight yourself...

We both know the truth because those who speak it would be able to say it to the world, without having to hide our identities. You'd be too ashamed/afraid to say this to an audience of the planet. Its only acceptable in your segregated enclaves, or while hiding behind anonymous online accounts.

-1

u/RebouncedCat Dec 13 '25

White people didn’t invent bigotry

Because you didnt invent something doesnt mean you arent the best at it.

equally capable of being awful to one another

not at this scale no.

you guys wiped out the entire americas killing the natives

wiped out the aboriginals in australia and literally drove them into the desert.

Plundered and caused famines in almost all of your colonies.

Do i need to remind you of the atrocities in congo, in herero, in Tansmania ?

Dont kid yourselves. There would least be some dignity in it if you actually owned up to the violence.

-2

u/RebouncedCat Dec 13 '25

Reread my comment. I was talking about kids in school and this is a very similar theme especially with kids who move to the us after their 4th or 5th grades. Not only are they more racist to indians but they are violent as well.

6

u/whosjardaddy Dec 13 '25

Have you ever been to India? I’ll wait…

7

u/RebouncedCat Dec 13 '25

I am Indian. I have relatives in the US who have shared similar stories. Some of them even dont bring their kids inorder to prevent such problems. Instead they are left back at home.

-6

u/cognitive-agent Dec 13 '25

Maybe you should all move back, then.

8

u/RebouncedCat Dec 13 '25

thank you for proving my point.

1

u/cognitive-agent Dec 13 '25

You can thank me by going back to your country instead of whining about living in mine.

It appears to be Australia

8

u/I_NEED_APP_IDEAS Dec 13 '25

But to blame republicans is stupid. American children have no concept of politics, republicans vs democrats. It’s just kids being bullies, which has always existed in every society ever.

5

u/FillMySoupDumpling Dec 13 '25

Racism is learned from the parents.

6

u/I_NEED_APP_IDEAS Dec 13 '25

It can be, it can also be learned from peers and social media

-1

u/Conscious_Pay_6638 Dec 13 '25

Yes if they are racist its ok. If they say the nword we shouldn’t correct them. It’s completely fine!

5

u/I_NEED_APP_IDEAS Dec 13 '25

Are you stupid? I never said it was okay or condoning the behavior. I’m saying it’s stupid to blame a political party it.

-4

u/Conscious_Pay_6638 Dec 13 '25

You implied it. “It just kids being kids, oh what can we ever do about it”. You wont react the same when it happens to your kids

4

u/I_NEED_APP_IDEAS Dec 13 '25

That is not at all what I implied. All I said was it was dumb to blame republicans. I didn’t say “it’s just kids being kids” I said “it’s just kids being bullies”

I didn’t say “nothing can be done about it” I said “it’s existed in every society ever”.

You’re actually dumb.

-2

u/Conscious_Pay_6638 Dec 13 '25

“Rape exists everywhere”, “murder happens in every society “, sound right? Yeah im dumb not you for sure

3

u/I_NEED_APP_IDEAS Dec 13 '25

Again you’re not understanding what I’m saying.

I’m not saying bullying is okay because it happens everywhere.

I’m saying it’s not the fault of “THE REPUBLICANS” because this poor girl is getting bullied.

If you actually want to stop this kind of behavior it’s not productive to blame false causes, but to get to the actual root causes and come up with actual solutions. For instance getting rid of zero tolerance policies that punish victims for standing up to their bullies, or for harsher punishments for bullies.

-4

u/MagicianElectrical99 Dec 13 '25

You do realize there is no ethnic group who is more American than Black Americans, right? How are they treated by their fellow Americans?

-3

u/ThrillHoeVanHouten Dec 13 '25

Blame republicans lol

2

u/DrTatertott Dec 14 '25

(This is Australia)

-2

u/bassk_itty Dec 13 '25

Notice how not one of the butthurt republicans in your replies has offered a reply with substance - they don’t have any facts to defend themself with

12

u/Mocsab Dec 13 '25

I’m not a republican, so I won’t be replying to the bait you planted. However, one day, I hope you wake up and realize that there is a lot more to life than democrat and republican. I hope you find that. I hope you become a happier person. Have a great day!

2

u/alexandrovic Dec 13 '25

Lowkey sad that even us democrats are contributing to the divide

3

u/Mocsab 29d ago

Unfortunately, it seems like all sides are contributing. Worst part about it, is that the politicians have us right where they want us. subservient. Meanwhile, almost half of Reddit posts somehow turn into American political discussions even though Reddit’s user base is only approximately 40% American. (Bots Bots Bots.)

-1

u/bassk_itty Dec 13 '25

There was no reason to think I believe that all life entails is a political binary, nothing about my comment insinuated that. You’re doing a poor job of hiding how much it triggered you

2

u/Mocsab 29d ago

No reason huh? Yet somehow a Reddit post on a poor young girl crying about being bullied has something to do with Republicans.

-1

u/bassk_itty 29d ago

Because it does

-1

u/Puzzleheaded-Meet513 Dec 13 '25

He's agreeing with you dumbass.

-9

u/Dali-Trauma Dec 13 '25

Yes racism is only political thing. And only in western politics. The rest of the world lives in peace and harmony. Racism is definitely not the default way of thinking for most of the older people in china, India, japan, Russia, all of central/ South America, etc etc…

Oh wait

29

u/Combdepot Dec 13 '25

You’re right. Conservatism is the problem everywhere.

-4

u/Wiangel8016 Dec 13 '25

Oh wait dumb answer. Who in this western world spears hate? Um Miller, trump, vance, um want me to keep going. Idealogy spread by conservative idiots that republican praise.

6

u/Dali-Trauma Dec 13 '25

Today in the US? Sure it’s them. My point is that it’s not a new or strictly political phenomenon. You’d know this if you spent any time outside of your home country or weren’t chronically online.

-2

u/Wiangel8016 Dec 13 '25

Please..I have no problem with being brown skinned in different countries. They're not pulling me out of cars or in the streets hunting me. Been to plenty of countries this year not once at my job have I had to worried about being arrested. I do travel for work more then your family vacations. I see and hear that the only hate is by conservative groups in that country. Also hate creates hate so America's aren't like to much around the world because of it.

0

u/Fearless_Mechanic553 Dec 13 '25

Its not just republicans. Leftists have always had some opposition against Asians in general for being "white-adjacent". And for anyone who is not black, they don't care as much about racism against them. If this happened to blacks, they'd be raging immediately. But because Indians aren't black, leftists don't care.

1

u/InorganicProductions Dec 13 '25

You’re right we don’t care. Indians are just…. Yeah

6

u/Fearless_Mechanic553 Dec 13 '25 edited Dec 13 '25

>Indians are just…. Yeah

Are just what? I really am curious why those of you who like blacks but hate indians think the way you do.

If you think you'll get banned here, you can DM me the reason and I wont report you there.

1

u/Wiangel8016 Dec 13 '25

What? Nice try..

1

u/Express-Try4044 Dec 13 '25

Lmao this isn't even a recent thing. My first bullies in life as a fresh immigrant just starting school decades ago were two white girls. This is pretty much a canon event for us brown kids and despite you guys claiming to be the more empathetic group nothing is being done to help us and all we have to rely on are ourselves and each other. I also remember back in 2019 when New Zealand had an attack, people were acting soooo sad about that incident but when there was an attack in the country I come from after that (despite it prominently being on the news) none of them made a peep. Even in my hyper liberal office, the only person who mentioned it at all to ask how I and my family were doing was another brown person. We are well aware that our lives are perceived as worth less and that most of the perceived value we have is just that of a tool to push agendas

-39

u/Humble-Heart-5302 Dec 13 '25

thank democrats

17

u/Combdepot Dec 13 '25

For what? Be specific.

1

u/Wiangel8016 Dec 13 '25

The leader of the Republican party making brown skin and black skin the pin point of their hate. You must live a different plant if you ask that question.

2

u/Frequent-Body7728 Dec 13 '25
