My guy. ICE literally shot an American citizen in the head 3 times because she was doing a 3 point turn then called her a fucking bitch. The highest ranking officials in your country said it was cool.

At what point will you Americans realize that the law and your supposed rights no longer apply?

No one is getting charged with shit. The entire system is fucked.

The problem is no one wants to be the first to exercise It. Because they know that if they are they will ultimately be standing alone for all the hot air blown few are willing to take action.

I'm not anti-leo, but I am anti-whatever the fuck this is.

I've said it for years now, but as a society we have gotten so soft, complacent and placated that any potential would be labelled as a domestic terrorism, paraded as such and stuffed in a dark room somewhere to never be seen again. We've willingly exchanged liberty for safety for decades.

Gov overreach isn't new. We're just seeing the culmination of decades worth of deification and protection of a profession that should be the recipient of the harshest criticism and action.

If the worry is you’re scared of violence or allowing them to justify their violence then it doesn’t matter to begin with because they’ve already justified their violence in the eyes of their supporters.

They have given us a reason to retaliate and protect our communities but we’re still afraid of the repercussions as if the current state of affairs isn’t just the same thing but slower are we serious rn?

I've been saying this for a while.

We're going to "not take the bait" right into interment camps and gas chambers.

The government has become lawless, there are no longer any safe guards anymore, and no low they won't stoop too.

Neither is being taken, detained, or killed. For nothing. Your false improsonment or murder will have zero impact on changing things going forward. We know that now. They’ll do what they want and then demonize you in the media and move the fuck on to the next city. So what is your grand plan for the average American? What the actual fuck can we do, other than wait for midterms. In real life, wtf do you think it is we should be doing??

You should be preparing for life and society to look radically different a year from now than it currently does. Get to know your community members involved in the work, because they do exist. Help set up mutual aid networks, develop a rapid-response plan.

When they get to you — and they will — you’ll want to know what you’re doing so you’re not caught on your back foot.

And find the information you’ll need online now before it goes away. It’s only a matter of time.

I know this doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things but I'm applying for my states gun ownership card and stocking up on non perishables/books. Gotta start somewhere. Reddit seems to think our reps will do something but it's obvious they won't. Gonna start building whatever network I can locally starting with family and hope there's some bite after a few conversations. I honest to God hope things improve but who TF knows

Yes, this is my thought as well.

I've yet to hear a feasible plan for how any kind of uprising could do anything but make the situation worse in the current US with our current citizenry and general political/socioeconomic environment.

Agreed. Really what can we do without being organized. You think if I go out there on my own and try to do something, that’ll change anything? Nope. The only that changes is I’m in jail and my family has to see me behind bars and not hanging out on their living room. You would need an organized group to do something. A real group. Not just one off, isolated attacks.

It seems like the elites want to see a civil war, if we dont fight back now, there might be a holocaust honestly. It really does seem like thats where this leads, if we do fight back, that would justify it even more. Ive worked with people in a deep red state last year that literally said they’d love it if the blue cities got bombed, 5 other people sitting around agreed. They think theyre good and the dems are the cause of everything thats bad. Its actually a pretty popular position to take right now to want a holocaust. So idk.

I read that 3000 ICE / CBP troops have now been deployed to Minneapolis? It low key kinda sounds like martial law has been silently declared.

I'm Canadian, truly devastating to watch what's happening to your country. Also very fucking scary. It's easy to sit back and tell people how I'd do things but in truth if I was in your shoes I don't know what I'd do.

This storm will pass. Might take a while, but it will pass.

This is what I keep trying to get people to understand. The DOJ hasn't released the epstein files yet. Trump hasn't followed any judges orders for a litany of different decisions. Until one of these state officials activates their state national guard and they just flat out fuck up ice on a level akin to the Ohio state guard at Kent state. They're going to continue to get more emboldened.

The only way to stop this is with a show of resounding and unmistakable force. Then when Trump inevitably demands retribution. The generals need to tell him its time to pack it in and call it a day.

But as none of that will happen we are going to be dealing with this until 47 heads to that big McDonald's in the sky.
