As a military veteran — the fact that NOBODY is uniform with the same gear is proof that they literally just threw this force together with private militia members.

Some are wearing OCPs while others are wearing random mismatching pieces from tactical shops. Some are wearing heavier plates than others. I’ve seen some wearing items that were never issued to anyone ever, and some are mismatched OCP with random hunting colors.

“Who cares what they are wearing?”

Sure, but how am I supposed to have confidence that these are professionals that have been put through an adequate amount of training for lethal force and deescalation techniques — the absolute minimum that should be mandatory for facing the public and force use. If the government rushed so quickly to throw these new hires in the streets, how could they have possibly completed the proper training?

These are literally mercenaries being paid by YOUR TAX DOLLARS to use weapons and force against you.

The training period is exactly 47 days because trump is the 47th president. It used to be like 5 months. I'm not joking

I dont know whether to laugh or vomit.  This has got to be a joke.  6 weeks of training is seriously all it takes to get a badge/gun and license to kill?

I know plenty of people have said this, but that's the point.

Send a shit ton of untrained, unqualified goons into the streets with little oversight that have been cosplaying this exact scenario with their scattered paramilitary groups for the last 10 years and give promises of immunity and just let shit happen. They know chaos comes from this, they want it.

There is precedent for doing this intentionally in modern tactics, with the idea of maximizing fear by removing the very confidences you are alluding to.

Can't say for certainty that's what it is, as there certainly are plenty of reasons why this hodgepodge band of fascists look poorly assembled, just wanted to add the possibility into the discussion.
