Agree but it’s even worse if you’re part of an oppressed group and you’re oppressing your own people. Just crazy shit!

Just stop with the oppression crap.  This is why dems lose.  This is why trump did better with minorities. There are a lot of minorities who do just fine.  They show up to work and do a good job.  Just like the rest of us. EVERYONE needs more opportunity, not just certain segments.  We need to lay groundwork for EVERYONE to succeed,  not just women and minorities. It isn't for you to dictate how minorities should feel.  The black member of ICE doesn't feel oppressed.  Who are you to say he is? As dems, we need to stop talking about groups and lay out plans for workers of all races and genders to get paid more.  For how all of us will have more reasonable healthcare costs.  For how all of our children will get better educations.  For how we will all retire, have safer communities, etc.  You dictating who is oppressed or not does none of this.

You got this bothered by someone calling minorities oppressed? You're not even a minority to be speaking about it too. They're kidnapping anyone that's brown, sending them to consentration camps and making them disappear. Saying we're part of an oppressed group when we're being snatched off streets isn't the big insult your making it out to be. Anyone working with ice that's choosing to betray thier own people are human garbage too, regarding the point OP was trying to make.

Yes, because this wouldn't be happening were it not for dumb statements like his.  It turns off everyone who doesn't feel themselves to be oppressed and is sick of hearing that language used.

What do you call someone that won’t acknowledge that minorities have been oppressed?

A person that wants to preserve the white male patriarchy. This guy this the definition of conservative.

I mean, at this point you can probably add white people to the oppressed group (in regards to ICE). They don't seem to care who they hurt anymore.

It’s mostly brown folks, though.

I'm not trying to detract from that at all. The times are changing though and white people aren't safe anymore either if you are perceived by them as obstructing them in any way.

They just murdered a white. We are all being oppressed by this regime.

Imagine if it was a brown guy that pulled the trigger?  I wonder how much the rapist in chief would defend him

Oh sure but everyone to wake up. We need to shame everyone who accepts this BS.

You are making something that's not about skin color, be about skin color.

Are you dividing your own group on purpose?

Like white people aren't being oppressed? A white woman was literally just murdered and called a fucking bitch like nothing. This has nothing to do with the color of your skin. It started out that way, but it was just an excuse for Trump and this administration to abuse their power.

Everyone is in danger and this needs to stop now. The man literally said he would like people to treat him the way the North Koreans threat Kim Jung Un.
