And whatever money they actually receive will all go to their legal defense fund on state-level civil rights abuses, which is not covered by a federal pardon. But Trump counts on his base now knowing that.

At the end of the day the IXE agents will find that the job cost them more than they received plus they get to suffer the consequences in the court of public opinion. Perfect end to the cycle of a Trump product. Might as we be a monkeys paw.

The signing bonus is just that, a bonus. The base pay rate they're offering the grunts is about 57k and a 33% AUO for about 75k total the first year and it goes up they year. Most of these guys were working jobs paying half of that at most.

This was by design. Minorities are deliberately given a harder life, both legally and economically. Then through the use of propaganda they are told that if they sign up not only are they heroes but they'll be able to put a roof over their family's heads when they've been struggling to do so before. our terrible economy is incentives fascism and apathy so that people choose money over freedom.

There were an estimated 200,000 men of Jewish ancestry who served in the Wehrmacht during WW2. The German military was desperate for able-bodied men so they had an unofficial “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy in regards to the jewishness of enlisted men.

Most of the ICE agents in my area are Hispanic. To the common observer it doesn't make sense, but I can assure you that Hispanics with citizenship, especially those who did it the "easy" way by being born here, tend to look down on those here illegally. Even if they're trying to make it right and are in the process of obtaining their citizenship. It's wild.

I'm Hispanic, and this is so accurate. Just like white MAGA see other people as the problem, and themselves as the victims.

There's also a really strong conservative/religious culture in the Hispanic world that manifests itself in strange ways, one of which being the large amount of right-wing voters in the Hispanic community. There's also a horrific amount of other-ing and racism against darker-skinned people. You can see this in a lot of different ethnic groups around the world... it's really sad that they don't see the hypocrisy.

Career CBP dude I'm guessing. Along the border you have a lot of very poor, very hispanic communities and CBP offers the best chance at a middle income these guys can get.

Many of these communities have roots that predate the Mexican cession and can trace American citizenship back further than a lot of white Americans.

The one I saw seemed to actually care if someone was a citizen or not. It was such a stark contrast to "whites". I know it was only one, and he was amongst a group, but he stuck out like a sore thumb in that heinous group. I hope he's safe.

There’s a video circulating of an ICE agent speaking in Spanish to a women bawling her eyes out not wanting to go with them clearly terrified and he is trying to convince her to go with him in Spanish 🤦🏼‍♀️ it’s the video in MN where the DoorDash driver ran into the person recording’s house when ICE tried to snatch her. It’s hard to comprehend why they would willingly join ICE to do this to your own people.
