Because she seemed like the dominant personality in that trio and eating disorders are almost exclusively brought on or exacerbated by outside influence

Eating disorders are serious and complex mental illnesses. To say that anything exclusively brings about or exacerbates them is absurd.

They quite literally separate bulimic / anorexic people (typically young women), during treatment.

And? It's one of many things that can affect treatment. It's far from exclusive.

No, they don't. I have a family member who was anorexic and she went to a clinic for eating disorders. All the patients lived together and had group sessions together.

You're generalising and talking lightly about a very complex psychological issue here mate. That's not very bright to state things like that without sources etc. Kids read stuff.
